Description
Syrah is a dry, full-bodied, opaque wine, with brisk acidity, moderate-to-high alcohol levels (1 3-1 4.5%) and firm tannins. It has a range of flavours, from smoke, bacon, herbs, red
and black fruits, white and black pepper, to flora; violet notes.
Serve at 16- 18C
Alcohol: 1 3.5% Vol
FOOD PAIRING
Avoid bigger fattier meats or food with a lot of acid and pair with leaner red meat, stew, and mildly spicy ethnic foods. Cheeses that pair well are Rogue Creamery Smokey Blue, Beecher’s Flagship Cheddar, Camembert.
